Ships and Crews
Learn the strengths of each ship and how teamwork wins battles.
Ships in Sea of Thieves
Sea of Thieves gives players three main ship choices: the Sloop, the Brigantine, and the Galleon. Each ship is designed for a different crew size and play style.
Choosing the right ship is important because it affects speed, handling, firepower, and how well a crew can work together during battles and voyages.
Sloop
The Sloop is the smallest ship in Sea of Thieves and is best for one or two players. It turns quickly and is easier to control.
Brigantine
The Brigantine is the middle-sized ship and works best for a crew of two or three players. It offers a strong balance between speed and firepower.
Galleon
The Galleon is the largest ship in the game and is designed for up to four players. It has the most cannons but needs strong teamwork.
Crew Roles and Teamwork
Crews often work best when each player has a role. One player steers, another adjusts sails, and others repair damage or fire cannons.
Good communication helps crews react quickly to danger, protect treasure, and defeat enemy ships.
